Thank you for your letter of the 29th August about B.M.A. advances. I have telegraphed Hong Kong for the confirmation required in connection with the advance to Messrs. Bailey and Company Limited and will let you know as soon as we have a reply.

I enclose a copy of a savingram from Hong Kong regarding the B.M.A. account with the Hong Kong Electricity Companies. I hope, after all this time, the information is what you require and I will send the figures for the China Light and Power Company Limited to you when they arrive.
